LET’S SAVE OUR PLANET/ FEW WAYS TO SAVE OUR PLANET [500words]
People living on the planet must play an important part in protecting the planet. There are various things that we can do each day to protect our planet. Here are some recommendations to save our planet.
1. REDUCE!!
The foremost thing we can do for the planet is to reuse its resources properly. Our society is mainly responsible for this environmental crisis. We don’t think before buying something. We just simply buy anything which is not necessary for us. But if we just ask ourselves that is this product needed for me? Is it sustainable for me? Will it last a long time? These are some questions that we just need to keep in our minds. Also, we should think of it that how was this product been made or how it should be disposed of? These are some things that we should ask ourselves before buying something. These unknown things to us are mainly the cause of pollution. So, we should keep close attention to these things every time we buy something.
2. REUSE!!
What do you think of using your ceramic cup or jar at your school or public places? It means no use of plastic cups. The less use of plastic cups, the less to be thrown away. You can reuse it every time by washing it. Unfortunately, we are bound to the new item rather than using the repairable and reusable one. While buying something we should buy the durable one; we should use it with proper purpose and repair it when it’s necessary. If we utilize it many things will last a lifetime and can be passed to the next generation for use. If something is not unusable for its original purpose, we can be creative to think of something new to do with this thing. When you are done with it, think of someone else who might be able to use it. You can donate some of these things to the poor or sell them to a shop. As a result, various things will be reused or I can say used properly.
3. RECYCLE!!
Rather than throwing items anywhere or throwing them in the garbage, you can recycle it. So that another person can use it. If it can’t be recycled don’t throw it anywhere rather you may burn it or send it to a landfill. Clean and sort the materials before disposing of them. Recycling your food and drink cans will reduce a lot of trash in a resource recovery facility or landfill. Moreover, a company can use old cans to make a new one. Thus the recycling progress can continue fluently.
We live this on this planet. We have to keep this planet safe and sound for our living. If we don’t look for its well-being it will not look for our well-being too. So, let’s stand for making this world a safer and better place.
